Hectic

It's funny how your life can change in a instant and without you even realizing it everything you loved to do Is no longer possible.
Take blogging for example it was something I really got into and for the most part I was pretty good at it and was always getting good feedback from people (although originally it was only meant to be a way of keeping my family up to date with how life was in Sweden and what i was up to) but as you can see I have absolutely no time at all for it anymore.

This has happened with a lot of things in my life, not just blogging i used to play loads of games all the time (for the most part it was World Of Warcraft) and had made lots of friends from all around the world and I don't even have time for that anymore, and for the most part have lost all contact with great people.

But on the other hand although I have lost time for a lot of things that I used to enjoy, I have also gained a lot. I'm now working all the time (still not fully employed, but one step closer) and I got the money together to pass my driving test and get our family a little run about.

So I guess there has to be a balance just now though feels like if I'm not working, I'm driving somewhere and if I'm not driving somewhere I'm working.
Although at work I'm doing both at the moment.
But I'm sure things need to have a balance and right now I haven't found it but perhaps it will come one day when I least expect it.

So to all my followers for the ones I still have left I'm sorry for not being more active it was never my intention to let the blog slide the way it has, but like I said life has gotten in the way and the time that I once had for it is no longer there, so for now and until I find a balance to what is currently my hectic life you will just have to be satisfied with the small updates I do from time to time.

So until next time! Take care everyone.

Employed... Well Kind Off!

So the other week I wrote about a surprise that was going to happen, but seeing as nothing was set in stone I didn't actually want to post anything.

Well the surprise finally happened and as you can tell by the title of this post I have now been officially employed by the company that I'm doing my praktikplats (practice place) with.
Or well sort off...

What I have been given is what they call here timanställd (time employed) so basically what this means is that if anyone phones into us sick for that day or whatever then I will be called in to do their job for how ever long they are unable to work.
But seeing as I am still on my praktik this will work slightly different, so basically how it will work up until the 4th December (this is when my praktik with them ends) is that normally I will be a praktikant, and if anyone phones in sick leaving us with to little people, my boss will say to me today you are time employed and for those days i work as an employee I will get paid from them instead of being paid by the government.
This means I will get a lot more money than I am making now and you cannot image how great a feeling that is.

Sure this is not full employment but it is certainly a HUGE step forward to where I was a week ago. Also there is still a good chance that I could get full employment with them but we shall just have to wait and find out.
I mean anything can happen between now and December when my praktik ends.

What was even more great was that my boss came to me and said you are officially from the 1st October time employed with us and then I got to work Wednesday, Thursday and Friday as time employed which means ill get 3 days wage from them at the end of November. But what a feeling it was to actually work those 3 days knowing that I was actually doing it for a real wage, this was something I had not experienced in a long time and what can I say it felt great!!

So there you have it! That's my surprise and once more I have to say it feels great. Now I just got to hope that between now an December something happens and I'm able to get full time employment with them.

But that's all I have for this post, I hope everyone else had a great week but until next time.....

If You Don't Laugh...

So i'm aware that the post is a bit later than i had originally planned but if you seen my photo over at The Angry Scot's Facebook Page you will have noticed that i finally decided to get outside and cut our damn grass, it took me about 2 hours and after it i was completely dead. But i said i was going to post one this weekend and i didn't want to let people down.

I have actually considered taking a small break away from blogging and just focussing on other things, because if i'm honest even though i love to do it, trying to find the time at the moment is becoming difficult. I honestly can't believe how much getting a job would affect the time i actually have to do things and i just feel that i'm stressing alot about not putting out content etc and always making promises that i'm going to post something and then not doing it because i end up doing other things.
But i don't know yet, perhaps i'll just download the blogger app to my iPhone and just write things up when i get time at work like on lunch etc and just post them up when they are finished we shall see, but i shall keep you all updated on what i decide.

But back to the post...

So the other day i got a big shock when i asked Marie to give the försäkringskassan (It's the people who pay my wages for being on this praktik i'm on) a quick call to confirm which dates i should write on the paper that i need to send into them in the next couple of weeks, the reason i asked her to do this is because we had apparently doing it wrongly and they were getting annoyed and it was holding up my money.
So to make sure it was right i had asked Marie when she was off work on Thursday to give them a call just to double confirm the dates.
However when she gave them a call she was told that they were not aware that i was still on my praktik, thus meaning i was not insured while i was at work for the first week of my second 3 months....

One word: Arbetsförmedlingen (Job Centre)

Yes indeed they have struck AGAIN!

It turns out that although my Job Centre point of contact had given me the go ahead to work another 3 months at the company i'm with, she had decided not to bother informing the rest of the Job Centre, aka she hadn't written anything in my file that i was granted a 3 month extension, thus meaning that Försäkringskassan was not informed either and thus meaning i was not insured or entitled to any money.

Fantastic right??

So of course, Marie gives me a call at work and informs me of this and i have to now try and get in contact with my person at the Job Centre to find out what the hell has happened, but in true Arbetsförmedlingen style whenever you try and get in contact with them, they always seem to be conveniently busy and not able to take your call, so i got sent through to customer services who tried to help me but was unable to sent me through someone random girl at the Lidköping Job Centre.

By this point you could imagine who stressed i was, i mean i shouldn't even be working since i was insured and if anything would have happened i would have been up shit creak without a paddle as they say. But i explained what happened and read out the e-mail that i had been sent by my point of contact at the Job Centre and the lovely lady at the other end said she would come back to me as soon as she could.

So after about 2 hours of waiting my work phone finally begins to ring and it's the job centre, and what can i said but the relief i felt when she informed me that she had fixed the problem and that i would be receiving a letter in the mail that i need to sign and send back to them was unbelievable.

I know that i shouldn't be surprised by anything that the Job Centre does or in this case doesn't do but still. It seems that every time i have some sort of dealing with these guys there is always some problem here or there that i end up spending hours of a phone trying to get resolved.

But it's fixed and all is well, and i'm now working with insurance again (So grateful that nothing happened!).
It was just lucky that i had asked Marie to get in contact with the Försäkringskassan, otherwise i don't know what would have happened.

But that's my fun and games for this week, as i said i shall see how things go and maybe try and grab the app so i can write up a post during the week when i have time at lunch etc so all i need to do is do some edits on the computer and add images etc if i want to at the end of the week, but we shall see.

So until next time.. Have a great week guys!

Yeeehaaaa!

So i got some good news that made me jump up in the air and scream "YEEEEHAAAA!" and thought that i would make sometime when i got home to let all you guys know as well since i am so happy about it.

Anyways... i had contacted my contact person at the local job centre and asked for 3 months extra on my praktikplats, i actually think i wrote about it a few weeks back but anyways, i was sitting in the lunch room today chatting away with one of my work mates when he asked:

"Have you got 3 months extra then? or are you still waiting" of course i replied with that i was still waiting and that my handler person had only started back yesterday but then i decided to head out for a cigarette and thought that i would give her another e-mail and ask her how it was going with it, i didn't expect much a reply since as i said she only came back off her holiday yesterday so the chances of her looking at my e-mail or dealing with it was pretty slim.

But a couple of hours later i decided to head outside and check my e-mails on the chance that she had decided to reply with at least that she was dealing with it.

However the response was even better than i expected, not only had she looked at my e-mail she had also dealt with it already and was planning on e-mailing me back today at some point. But the news was that i have gotten my extra 3 Months!!!!!!!! along with the week off i needed to go back to Scotland for a week to visit my folks etc!

So that's awesome, i have to admit i was pretty worried about it and it had been playing on my mind these last few weeks, so to finally have it dealt with is just a huge weight lifted off my shoulders, so now i can work the next 3 weeks and head off to Scotland then know that when i come back to Sweden that i shall be starting back to work the next day!
Instead of coming back to sitting on the couch and being depressed again :)

So i'm on cloud 9 at the moment and life couldn't get better! well it could, they could fully employee me where i'm currently working but i guess that's not going to happen, but least i have 3 months extra which could hopefully end up with employment at the end of that!

Happy Happy Happy!

But i just thought i would share my awesome news with you all, but for now i'm going to head off and eat some food and watch some TV with my beautiful partner before heading off to bed, i might have a blog post to release tomorrow but it will depend on how i feel when i get home from work, so keep a eye out :)

So until next time... Happy AngryScot is Happy!!

Sounds Promising...

So the other week I decided to have a little chat with my boss, seeing as he was going on holiday for 5 weeks and by the time he returned from his holiday I would be finishing off my praktikplats with the company.

Obviously I would love to be kept on with the company as I haven't had so much fun at work EVER! not to mention the people that I work with are truly awesome which makes going to work really fun and enjoyable.
To be honest up until I started with the company I'm with now I used to hate going to work, but now I'm getting up every morning and I feel like "yeehaa time to get to work!"

But anyways I decided to have a chat and see what he thought I should do, and I have to say it sounded really positive and I left the chat feeling really happy.

He has advised me that I should contact the local job center and ask for my praktik to be extended by another 3 months and I have to have a chat with our main boss who is in charge of both the caretakers and the cleaners, so I have done that and am currently waiting for the person at the job center who is in charge of me to come back from holiday and give me a response as to if it's possible.
I have also spoke to my main boss about it on some what of a level, unfortunately there was other people around so i couldn't have a proper chat with her but i shall do that at some point when she returns from her holiday, and see what she has to say.
However she has asked if i would be interested in the cleaning side of the company and i have said that i would, to be honest i will do anything as long as it entails working with the people that i am working with now, because they are all really great people who know how to have a good laugh while getting the job done so we shall see, i shall of course keep you updated on that later on.

I'm just hoping that they will extend it and by the time that 3 months has ended that there is a position with the company available for me.
If not I'm going to be disappointed of course but at least I will have worked in Sweden for 6 months and have a good few reference’s if nothing else.

Of course I would much rather continue with the company as I really do love working there, but we shall see. But from what my boss has said he is really happy with my work and finds it really fun to work with me. So lets keep the fingers crossed eh?

But until next time I hope everyone has had a great weekend and that you have a awesome week.

"Choose a job.....

...you love and you will never have to work a day in your life"
~ Confusius

Well today The Angry Scot is not around, and i just thought i (his partner in crime) would make a wee post here in his absence.
As all of you might have understood he is away most of the day now, working and really enjoying it. And coming home at evening doesn't leave alot of time on his hands to actually write a blog-post. I'm sure that there will be a post or two in the next coming few days as we had some good friends here last weekend.

It is amazing seeing what a job can do with a person though. The Angry Scot was unemployed for quite some time and life with him wasn't always the easiest. I totally understand why, i mean, me and the kids was always out all day. We were always talking to other people during the day and doing things, and when we came home we were tired, whilst The Angry Scot sat around the house not really doing anything and the more he sat around, the less energy he had to spare.
He has had some really downs during the last couple of years, struggling with his own identity i would say.
And who wouldn't??
I don't even know if i would have been able to cope with it, and i realize that now. That maybe i never actually can put myself in that state of mind he was in...
I remember being really annoyed at him at times because sometimes it was so damn hard even getting a smile out of him.
He really was The Angry Scot!!
But then again, if you're feeling that there is nothing left to smile for here in the world, why fake it??

But that was then **smiling big**
Then one day a year ago, i designed this blog for him and told him to start blogging about what's on his mind. And to be completely honest i think this blog is what saved his mind from going completely mental..
Then a couple of months back he was granted this "praktik" place.
And like they say; the rest is history.

Now The Angry Scot smiles, so it doesn't really make him so Angry anymore.
Maybe time to change this blog title??
Although naming a blog "The Happy Scot who Smiled" is probably not a good name lol....

So yeah.
The Angry Scot, not so much angry anymore.
He comes home from work with a smile on his face, tired but still wants to chat away. And he wakes up in the morning acting like a bloody Energizer Bunny, ready to rock....
Now that is awful i tell you, ha ha!!

He has always been the best partner i could have asked for, and the best father figure the kiddies could asked for and they love him to death.
I love him regardless with all of my heart and i always will,
but it is just really nice to see him being somewhat peaceful with where he is at in life too.

So here's to you hubbie...
Love you forever and ever and i really hope that you get to stay with the job you found as you are so happy these days.
But even if you don't, always remember that we love you loads!! <3 <3 <3

It's The Weekend!!!

Well finally the weekend is here and all i can say is "OUCH" my full body is in full shut down mode, i thought last weekend was bad after my first week working but this week has been 10x worse. The work has been really fun and i'm still loving every second of it but my body is in so much pain that i'm unsure if it can withstand anymore. When i tried getting out of bed this morning i'm pretty sure i felt like i was ready to collapse again, the pain that went through my legs was unbelievable.
I know it's because i have spent the last 6 years sitting around the couch watching TV and playing games and my muscles ain't used to this type of hard labour but OMG does it hurt!

Got to say though the week went flying by, probably helped by the fact i only actually worked 4 days this week due to the Swedish National Day, but the work was actually really fun too, i got to try out someone else's job that works there since he was on holiday for a week which involved transporting patients to different parts of the hospital and i got to say it's something i would probably like to do on a full time basis, some of the people you meet are amazing! They really brighten up your day, and you get to have really weird but interesting conversations with them.

But the normal guy is back next week, so i'm guessing i'll be going back to my doing everything i can find roll, which is fun since it's still never the same thing everyday and even though i'm all for consistency and i love to have certain things to do at certain times, the fact i know i'm coming in to god knows what really makes it exciting to go to work, yea i know i'm weird i'm probably one of a handful of people that actually enjoys heading into work :P Funny thing is i never used to be like that, the thought of getting up and going to work was really depressing and you know the thing like when your off work you wished you were working but when you are working you wished you didn't have a job, well so far i haven't had that thought.

I think it had to do alot with the people that i work with as well, because they have really accepted me into the group, and we are able to have a really good laugh while getting the job done at the same time, which i think is really important. Alot of the times in my previous job it would be all work and no play and we all know that makes for a very dull time.

But it's the weekend and i was planning on cutting the grass today (trying to keep the grass cut on a regular basis this year) but the lovely Swedish weather has decided to go away and leave us with a massive amount of rain, so i'm guessing that idea is going on the "oh well list" So today i think i will just chill out since we are totally kids free, maybe take a bath, play some computer games and then chill out with Marie :)

So until next time... have a great weekend!

First Week On The Job!

Well as most of you know already, on Monday there i started my 3 month "praktikplats" at the local hospital in Lidköping as a Janitor/Caretaker type person, and i have to say although it was something that was not exactly my ideal job i absolutely love it.
I don't know if it's because i have been unemployed for so long (close to 7 years) but either way just the though of going up in the morning and getting ready and heading off to work just makes me get all happy, i'm unsure if Marie is enjoying me going to work since all she wants to do is sit and not speak and relax before work where i'm like all hyped up and ready to get cracking but either way it's brilliant.

So i basically thought i would let you all know how it's been going, Monday was fairly easy day being that it was my first day and all i really did was follow people around and get shown the ropes as to the different jobs that the guys down in the basement do but as the week progressed i got to do alot more interesting stuff and start doing things on my own which was pretty awsome.

The people that i am working with are just awsome, not all of them i must say there is one or two guys that i have followed around who i have to say make the day drag on more than anything but the rest of them are just awsome, when i'm with them the day honestly just goes so fast that it feels like i have walked into the place and then walked straight back out of it, and hell who doesn't want a day like that eh?
Not to mention on top of doing all different types of jobs that i would normally have probably thought would be boring which have turned out to be pretty fun, i'm surrounded by Swedish people who THANK THE HIGH HEAVENS! speak absolutely NO ENGLISH! or if they can, they never speak a word of it, this i am the most thankful for i think. Having to be forced to speak the Swedish language and knowing that the only reply i will ever get is in Swedish is just amazing and makes going out to work even better, even if i don't understand some of the things they come out with i can normally pick up enough of what they have said to be able to translate the words i don't understand on my own, so on top of going out and learning a new job and different aspects of what they do, i'm also increasing my vocabulary in the Swedish language and finding myself getting alot more confident in my own.

But the week has not gone by without a few bumps and scrapes i have to say, in only one week working their i have managed to completely bruise my whole right arm which right now is hurting like hell and a few cuts here and there but hey it's the life of a hard working person i guess.

I'm just hoping that next week will be just as fun, i'm guessing next week i'm going to have to start taking my own initiative but we shall see, either way it's an amazing feeling to get up in the morning and to know that today i won't be sitting on my ass at home playing computer games and watching TV and that instead of that i will be going out of the door and heading to work for a full days graft.
Nothing beats it i must say!

But i think that is all for today, even though i'm off today and i was planning on just sitting around and playing games i have noticed that the grass is looking a wee bit long again, so i'm going to have a nice cup of tea, perhaps some breakfast and then head outside to get the grass cut :)

So hope everyone else had a awsome week and that you have an amazing weekend! I know i have and will!

So until next time....

Playing The Waiting Game...

So the other week infact the day Kaeshan arrived here in Sweden for his few days visit, as i arrived home i got a phone call from Marie who was at work, saying that she had spoken to the Janitor company that works inside the hospital. They basically deal with things like picking up the dirty laundry and taking the clean stuff back along with the post and other things like that.
She had tried a month ago or something along those lines trying to get me a summer job with them, but seeing as i don't have a driving licence they were unable to help me, but she had enquired to see if they would be interested or able to take me on a Praktikplats (Practice Job basically) and well the day Kaeshan arrived she was walking by them when she was shouted upon and informed that if i wanted a praktikplats then they would be more than happy to take me on for 3 months.

This was absolutely fantastic news!!!! or at least so i thought....

So Marie arranged for me to go in the day after Kaeshan left (Last Tuesday) to have the paperwork for the Job Centre filled out and get the ball rolling on it, but apparently things are not as easy as this in Sweden, or infact any Nordic Country.
After meeting up with the people who will be giving me the praktikplats and meeting another few people that i would have the pleasure of working with, i headed off down to the local job centre (by the way this is a 20 minute walk from the hospital to the job centre) to then be told by the Job Centre that i had not filled in the form correctly and that i would have to go all the way back up to the hospital and have the parts that were missed filled in.

So off i went, i have to say i wasn't best pleased about having to take another 20 minute walk up and then back down but needs must as they say, it was a chance of a job or at least a job for 3 months with the opportunity of gaining employment after it, so once i got back to the hospital and got the stuff filled in and took another 20 minute walk down the chap the job centre then informed me that i had missed out something else, that they had not told me to get filled in.. By this time i was not best pleased and informed him that i would much rather speak to my old handler instead of him, so off he went and sure enough she came back and said that i didn't need to fill it in at all and that they would do that part themselves, i can't tell you the sigh of relief that came over me when she told me that.

I thought that once i had filled in the form, that they would just look over it and then make a decision if i was allowed it or not, but nooooo..... that would be far to simple, instead they have to make phone calls and make a decision if i'm allowed this praktik or not, which in my opinion is absolutely ridiculous since it was them that told me to go out and find one if i was unable to find a proper job. But now i have they have to make sure if i'm allowed to take this one or not.

So i got a call on Friday from my new handler who informed me that she was unable to get in touch with anyone there and that she would try again on Monday (meaning today) now that's great except if she was able to get someone on Friday then i could have started today, but alas it was not meant to be so now i have to sit here and play the waiting game hoping that she phones me with a yes you are allowed and then i'll be able to start my 3 month praktik which would be awsome, since there is a chance to get a job out of it!

Upsetting.....

As you probably gathered i haven't been around for a few days, this was mostly because as you were aware i was at a Job Interview last week. Infact it was my first ever one in Swedish and although i thought it went well i'm guessing down in the deepest parts of my gut i knew that i didn't get it and although i knew i hadn't got the job before he even phoned me i was still praying that this would be the time i would move forward and actually get somewhere.

However, it wasn't to be.......

I received a call on Wednesday from Mattias at Rusta informing me that i hadn't got the job...............

I had always said to Marie "Aslong as i get a Interview i will be happy! it's a step forward!" And although that was my feeling all the way up until i got this interview the blow that i took when i was rejected was massive and was something i wasn't expected, I don't know why i felt the way i did when i received but i felt like a failure, i felt like i had let my kids and my partner down. This was my one shot! and i felt like i had completely blown it and not just for myself but for everyone else here who is counting on me.
I know that they don't feel like that, and i know that Marie was really proud of me for getting the interview in the first place and for going and doing my best, but the feeling of failure is not something that i know very well.

Sure i have been rejected jobs in the past but not that many infact "ONE" but this one hit me hard because i need it and needed it badly.

But as i said it wasn't to be and i have finally gotten over the fact that i was rejected, i asked him why i didn't get chosen and his response was experience, personally i could have taken this if it wasn't for the fact:

  1. It was shop work, and no offence to anyone working in a shop but how hard is it to learn how to use a shop till and serve customers.
  2. I have been working in Customer Services and dealing with Customers for over 7 years, not including the 4 years+ that i was a Instructor teaching TaeKwon-Do, so i'm fully aware of how to deal with customers.
  3. He said during the interview that all members of staff would be getting trained on everything.
So for him to turn around and say it was because they had other candidates with more experience i felt a bit of a cop out in all honesty, but either way there is no point crying over spilled milk as they say, i have to pick myself back up and get moving along and know that there is always something else out there and i know that there is a nice Swedish company out there just looking for me and ready to give me a chance.

But that is all for today folks, it's a bit disappointing but that is the life in the unemployment game, i might be loosing at it right now but i know with a little determination and hard work something will come up!

Interview!

On Sunday i was sitting on the couch minding my own business looking at stuff on the internet when out the blue Marie who had been in the kitchen preparing breakfast (It was Waffle Sunday) came bursting through into the livingroom like a teenage girl my mobile in hand looking at me with the eyes of "HERE HERE HERE TAKE IT!!!!!!!!"
A bit curious as to why she was so exciting and running around like a teenage girl who has just been phoned to tell her that she has one some magnificent prize i took the phone to be surprised that it was a nice guy on the phone from a company that i had only the week before sent my CV into asking me if i would like to be able to come in for a interview the very next day (Yesterday).

Not a truer word spoken in my opinion!

If i'm totally honest, i HATE interview's i mean LOATHE them, even doing them in English i still found it was really hard, as i'm not that type of person that likes to sell himself, and now i was faced with doing it in a complete other language, let's just say nervousness doesn't really explain how i was feeling since the second i put the phone down on him after accepting it.

So pretty much Sunday i sat around with my stomach in my mouth and feeling more scared than i have ever in my entire life, but yesterday once i had finally got their everything disappeared. Unfortunately as the nerves left so did all the information on the company that i had been sitting reading and listening to over and over about 5 million times but i went in and i did what you can only do and tried my damn hardest.

The interview itself i cannot say how it went, i mean i'm normally pretty decent at reading people's reactions and getting a general idea about what they are thinking to my responses etc but this guy i could not read at all, but with every question he asked i was able to give a answer to, was it the answer he was looking for? i have no idea at all but i'm hoping that my Swedish was enough to convince him i'm the man for the job.

Pretty much after the interview i did what everyone does and sat there while waiting on the train home going over and over every question and every response i made, and you know that when you do that your always thinking "Shit! i shouldn't have said that, or Shit! i should have added this to my answer" but unfortunately you don't get a second chance with interview's or at least normally you don't so right now i'm just hoping that he understood what i was trying to put across and that i didn't come off as some jackass that he wouldn't hire in a million years.

I asked him at the end of the interview when we would be hearing, but his response was that he had a few other candidates to interview and then he would make his decision and get back to me as soon as he could, so now i'm sitting here in the house playing the waiting game..

Could this be the start of a new life? Could it finally mean that i am able to give my family the life they deserve? Or am i going to be going back to the drawing board and looking for other jobs to apply to?

The answer to these questions are all in the hands off a man that i sat in a room with for 1 hour and hoping that finally someone in this country say's "You know what, he perhaps messed up this and that question but i think i'm going to give him a chance and see what he can do for us!" That is currently all i can hope right now, but i got a interview and that is a huge step from 100 rejection letters so even if i don't get it which i'm hoping to the high heavens that i do, then at least i can sit back and say "You might not have got the job, but you got alot further in the process than you have done and you did all you could to try and secure the position"

But for now i think i shall bid everyone farewell and do what i've been doing since i came out of the interview, sitting by the phone praying that it rings and the man on the other end is saying "You Got The Job!!!"

So until next time, have a great day!

I Didn't Get It...

The other week i was doing what i normally do, searching through the wonderful world of Arbetsförmedlingen's (Local Job Centre) website when i stumbled across the most perfect job for me that i could possibly imagine, granted the job is not something i really ever wanted to go back into but in terms of qualifications and experience well i had it by the bucket load.

So the job itself was for a transport company situated in the town of Vara which is roughly about 20-25mins bus ride away from where i live so not only was it the perfect job in terms of experience etc but it was the perfect job in terms of distance i had to travel, i mean once i have got myself a job the first thing on my list of things to do is put myself through my drivers licence finally and get it done and get a car so it would be even shorter a trip there and back so off i went and applied for it.
This application is probably the only one i have really put that extra little zing into, my personal letter in my honest opinion was absolutely amazing, i even went into great detail about what i did during my time in the transport industry in the hopes that they would read it and thing "Damn, we want this guy"

But once more i have been proven that it doesn't matter what i do it's just still not enough, so what do i do from here?

Well i could give up and just accept that life sucks hard and that i'm destined to never be able to provide for my family and never be able to buy my partner a Birthday/Christmas gift ever unless i use the money that she works for but that's not who i am, so looks like my only opinion is to continue full steam ahead and hope that one day not to long from now someone in this country will see my application, read my C.V. and give me a chance. It's all i can do really, there is no other opinion because all other opinions means admitting defeat and that's something i certainly don't want to pass on to my kids.

Yes it feels like crap now and even though i didn't think getting this rejection would bother me that much it really has since it was the first job i have the experience and everything else required for, but you win some and you loose some i guess, it's time to get back on the saddle and continue as if nothing has happened.

Sorry for the downer post but what can i say, i feel pretty crap right now about it and the whole job searching thing but things will change if i work hard enough for it, so until next time......
