Birthday Wishes.

Yesterday was a very special day in the house, why you might be asking? Well my little girl turned 15 years old, and honestly it made me feel like very old!

I honestly still can't believe how fast time has gone, it feels like it was only yesterday that i met this little 9 year old girl and yesterday she turned 15.

She and a few friends had decided to have a combined birthday party on Saturday at a friends house since 3 of them have their birthday in February so she had come home with her Gran & Grandad to celebrate with us yesterday (her real birthday) and we all sat down with some cake that Marie had made and gave our the gifts, i think she was a little bit more than happy at the fact we had gotten her a new laptop, since she had broken the last one. It wasn't actually her fault that it broke but it was unable to be repaired so we had decided that we would get her a new one. So i think that made the day for her at least now she doesn't have to borrow Marie's laptop every time she wants to do something.

I still just can't believe that she is already 15 years old, it's such a scary thing watching your children growing up at times, they are so awsome when they are babies and you think about everything that they will do as they grow up but as they grow you begin to realise than your also growing old but i guess that's just how life is.
But if i had to choose any daughter in the world to have been given she would definitely be my number one choice, i have only known her 6 years but in the 6 years of watching her grow she has become a beautiful and very intelligent young woman who i can see good things for in the future if she continues the way she is.

But for now i shall bid you all farewell, so until next time i hope you have a great day!

Tomorrow i'll be doing something that i don't normally ever do on this blog. I'm going to be sharing a recipe that myself and Marie tried out over the weekend while all the kids were away and i must say if your looking for something very tasty to try out then don't forget to stop by tomorrow!

Party Weekend.

Well our weekend turned into a pretty hectic one if i don't say so myself, on Saturday Marie had decided that seeing as it is the Christmas season  that she would spend most of Saturday morning baking with the kids Gingerbread Cookies and letting then decorate them, we have little shapes of things like reindeer's and Christmas tree's etc. So most of Saturday morning was spent baking them and decorating them with icing and chocolate sweeties, some of them turned out really nice and i wished i could have eaten one or 2 but i hate gingerbread so i didn't get to, but the kids had a absolute blast.

Marie had also decided that she would buy a Gingerbread House kit and make it with the kids for a bit of fun as well, but when she opened the box half the pieces of the house was broken, but Marie being Marie she attempted to salvage it by melting down chocolate and then sticking the pieces together with it, but by the time they finished building it with all the broken pieces let's just say it turned out like a house from World War 2 after a blitz attack lol. Safe to say it got thrown in the bin as it was just literally falling to pieces as she was trying to build it. Unfortunately we were unable to take any pictures of their baking or the destroyed Gingerbread House because our camera ran out of batteries and i couldn't locate any of the other ones (Yes Marie loves to take stuff, use it for something and then neglect to remember where she put them lol).

Of course that was not the end of our weekend fun no! not only did they get to do that on Saturday they also got to attend a Birthday party for one of the kids at their school, so Saturday was pretty much a day of sitting baking and eating gingerbread decorated with candy followed up a birthday party with even more candy. Let's just say that by the time they came back from the party they were in full sugar rush swing, but they had such a good time so i guess that is all that matters, but the fun didn't stop there either!
Not only did they have the birthday party on Saturday but  then they had ANOTHER one on Sunday, i know right 2 bloody parties in a row! So yet another day was filled with candy and fun and games for them.

And that folks was pretty much the whole weekend, filled with gingerbread and lots of candy for everyone! especially the twins lol, and to top of our fun packed weekend we have a pretty hectic week ahead of us as well with nurse appointments for the twins, followed  up by dentist appointments for the twins followed up by parents meetings at the school for the twins and our daughter so it's going to be a non stop week i think.

But until next time, i hope you all had a great day, and sorry for not being able to share any cool pictures of what the kids did with their Gingerbread but you can blame my fiancée Marie for that one :)

Happy Birthday Babe.

Today is a very special day for our family, today is the day that my lovely fiancée Marie turns a whopping 34 years old (Oh yea we're still young pups over here) I thought of a million things to do for her for today but i couldn't come up with anything because well when it comes to Birthdays i am not the best, i'm the type of person that likes to forget his own and not care about it and so is Marie, but i refuse to let her.

*Spoiler Alert: Post Contains Alot Of Love And May Make You Want To Be Sick*

So this post today is just for her and the reason why i love her so much.

My Hunny & My Puppy.
For anyone who doesn't know the story of how myself and Marie met let me tell you, it was just over 5 years ago and both of us were playing a online role-playing game called "World Of Warcraft (WoW)" i know we are both sad finding love over the internet and even worse finding love in a computer game but that is how it happened, we were both leveling our characters in a place called Burning Steepes within WoW and i was stealing her mobs, so of course the only thing she could do was hurl abuse at me in the online chat. From then on we ended up joining the same guild (A guild is a group of people that play together under the same name) and eventually after a few months we got talking which eventually talking and spending so much time online together turned into feelings for each other.

From the minute i met you in the game i knew you were the only one i wanted to spend the rest of my life with, your ability to make me laugh and smile when things are going rough still amazes me to this day, and although we have our problems like every couple i know that it doesn't matter because in the end we will make up and once more be madly in love.
What amazes me even more about you is how much you give to everyone around you, not even wanting anything in return, your generosity and love for everything and everyone around you is the reason i love you the most and waking up to the sight of you everyday is like dying and going to heaven because without you my life would be dull, boring and not worth living.

So although it might be lame to have found love inside a game, i am so glad that we did play that game and that we met each other, you are the love of my life, my soul mate and the reason for everything good in my life, i will love you to the end of time and beyond and know that nothing in this world can ever replace my love for you, my only regret in my life is not meeting you alot sooner than i did.

I would like to finish off this post by saying I LOVE YOU! you are my past, present and future and i am so glad to call you my fiancée and cannot wait until the day i am able to call you my wife.
